Voices in Harmony

Join our prize-winning choir – the Chiltern Voices - and sing at events, festivals and weddings throughout 2010 & 2011. Every year the choir are engaged to sing at weddings around Bucks, Herts, Surrey, The Midlands & Wiltshire.

FUND-RAISING & CHARITY PERFORMANCES

Since 2008 the choir has raised more than £5000 in fund-raising concerts for Churches (Amersham Free Church 'Vision4Reality' and St Peter's Church Church Development) and also for Slough Homeless, the London Run, the Epilepsy Centre, Brain tumour research and care and Water Aid.

Chiltern Voices as part of Vocal Performance Academy were awarded a distinction mark of 90 for their Trinity Guildhall Bronze Medal Award and performance.

Chiltern Voices is open to all who love to sing and wish to develop their repertoire and vocal technique within a lively and positive musical environment.  Members are from all over Buckinghamshire whether youngsters, teenagers or adults.  Chiltern Voices started in 2002 and has a growing repertoire of music from the 17^th Century to contemporary music. 

Tthe choir has performed at concerts & charity galas, and sung at numerous weddings throughout the UK in  Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Surrey, Kent, London and Birmingham.

Chiltern Voices have sung at numerous local festivals winning bronze, silver & Gold medals in their classes, winning 1^st place in classes at Maidenhead & South Bucks Music Festivals and also winning the Choral Cup at Chesham Music festival in 2004. The Choir were awarded Merit in the Trinity Guildhall Silver Medal Choral Award.

They participated in the Young Voices Concert at the Sheffield Arena in December 2004 singing with 7000 other young people from around the UK

Singing in a Choir really develops musicianship & sight-reading skills, alongside building confidence in singing in harmony & parts.  We sing ALL styles of music from the early music of Vivaldi to Mozart to Show songs & Pop songs!
