Interpreting lyrics and characterisation are an ESSENTIAL part of singing any song – definitely NOT an optional extra,

so Drama will be an important part of every Vocal Performance class at all levels

Some singers spend considerable time & effort working on their songs, only to learn a speech the night before an audition!! Singers need to choose suitable acting pieces, work on them and perform them BEFORE an audition!

Singers also need to be able to present song & concert programmes with confidence and style

 Some Music Theatre songs also incorporate spoken lyrics which can sometimes be daunting for ‘singers’

We work on Accents & Characterisation

Specific coaching for LAMDA exams is also available

We offer opportunities to work on complete roles – whether Music Theatre or Opera & Operetta

Alongside weekley work we will also offer opportunities to work on specific acting pieces and scenes on day & evening workshops with invited professional directors.
